                  Social Justice

As an expression of our faith and values, All Souls congregants take positions on relevant social justice issues. We share the responsibility of working together to make a difference in our community, our nation and our world. Through our endeavors, we put our faith in action.

Meetings: When announced

Ongoing actions: We have increased participation in Urban Mission Dollar Dinner Program, and are scheduled to host one on Easter. We helped launch, and currently provide volunteers to facilitate, and host an LGBTQ+ support and advocacy group.

Upcoming actions: We intend to work toward having All Souls recognized as a Welcoming Congregation.

Shared Plate: Ordinarily each year we donate half of cash collected during Sunday Service, not designated to All Souls, to two non-profit organizations. In the 2019-2020 fiscal year,  the congregation vote was tied so the three selected by the congregation are the Jefferson County Victims Assistance Center, North Country Public Radio and the Workers Center of Central New York.
